need advice asap!!!!

this post is about my work truck that ill list for you and its not the one in the sig.

i have a 2005 ram 2500 2wd auto tranny with 221,000 diesel.... i noticed last night when i was getting on the freeway that i hit about 2500rpm at moderate acceleration and the engine all of a sudden just stalled out like the tranny wasnt pulling anymore kind of feeling but the truck was still pulling along just felt like no power. i checked for codes and there wasnt any at all. this has never happened and i just had dropped a trailer off from bringing it from dallas to oklahoma last night with about 1500# load and the trailer is a 10K capacity trailer.

i have to make the trip back with the trailer tomorrow early morning and i need ideas and help as to whats going on with my truck so i know if im on the fast road to a break down or not...
