Need 2006 Cummins Info

I have been driving a cummins since 1997. 12 Valve and then a 00 3500 with a 6 speed manual with 18.5psi boost.

I have just purchased an 06 Dodge 3500, automatic 3:73's. I can't find the info listed below anywhere. I hope you guys can help me out. I running the Juice in the stock setting for now. I'm seeing more than 35psi of boost on the attitude. There is no sign of after market waste gate controller. The Attitude
could be wrong. Anyway here are my questions;

1. What is the max boost on the stock engine?

2. What would be considered, Overboost?

3. What would be Max EGT's? (Towing Etc) Anybody have an idea what it would be at 70mph.

4. What would be Max Transmission Temp?

Currently running around 180 without towing. The Attitude records showed 233 degrees some time in the past.

Thanks

Dave

I don't have gauges, but I have read a bunch of posts on 3rd gens. It seems that normal max boost is about 28 -30 psi and egt's run much higher on a stock 3rd gen then the second gen trucks. I have read posts where stock trucks under hard acceleration hitting 1300+ egt. Trans temp seem to vary with conditions, I recently read a post that seemed to say around town driving 180 seemed to be normal operating temps.

Under normal driving conditions at 70mph under normal throttle i see 700 - 800 on the egt, depending on wind and grade. I have seen Egt's up in the 1500 range under long heavy throttle on a grade. But i have read on here that short time frames in that range should not be that dangerous.

I dont know how accurate the trans temp is on the edge. I had it and ran it side by side with my analog gauge and never got them to read the same. My probe is in the hot line to the cooler. sometimes mine was higher and sometimes it was lower than the analog. I would say as long as you dont get any higher you should be fine.

Even with the juice on stock it still does boost fooling. Stock i saw as much as 32psi. When i had my edge the most i saw was 41psi. As far as i know there is no way to alter the wastegate directly, it is controlled by the ecm, the only way to adjust it is to fool the ecm in to thinking. I think i remember seeing on here that the stock engine is good to about 50psi but dont quote me on that.

my 07 5.9 with a intake and exhaust i can hit about 32 psi under full throttle. my trans temp seems to stay at 150-160 around town and highway (thats on the hot line with a deep transmsion pan.) With egts i can hit 1200 empty without a problem, nothing handles heat better than these commonrails from what ive heard.

Anyway here are my questions;

1. What is the max boost on the stock engine? - around 40 is all the stock turbo can handle.

2. What would be considered, Overboost? - Not sure, but anything above 40 and you are asking for trouble.

3. What would be Max EGT's? (Towing Etc) Anybody have an idea what it would be at 70mph. - at 1250 you can run all day long. Short spikes to about 1400 are OK, but you need to watch it. On flat at 70 you should run around 700-800

4. What would be Max Transmission Temp? - I think it is around 250, although it seems high. I usually see about 190 in town, but with current hot weather in slow traffic it will hit around 205
