Napa part number
I replaced all of my u-joints with serviceable parts, and am now unable to grease them due to close tolerances in the joint. Basically my grease gun tip will not fit into the joint. Supposedly napa has a tip that will fit the tight space, but I can find no part number. I have the needle adapter but it does not work. Thanks in advance for the help. Jamie

I've had that issue with other vehicles. If it's a standard clamp-on tip you can grind them down to fit in tighter situations. Just be wary not to go too deep they are not that thick. Sometimes you can also grind a small amount off the u-joint for clearance. It doesn't take much redneckery to gain clearance.

Intersting. I can get to all of mine with a standard head. I thought you could put them in a way that it wasn't an issue but I could be wrong. I know the part you are talking about but don't have the part number. If you haven't been to the napa store, i would stop on in. The napa's I have dealt with had employee's with a brain but maybe I got lucky.

Got it!! I think?
NAPA part #715-1219. Push type adapter for hard to reach grease fittings on cars, trucks and Farm equipment. I will let you know how it works. Thanks for the replies.
