Napa Gold air filter

Picked up a Napa Gold air filter for $30 bucks today to replace my very dirty stock filter. Filter minder has never moved. It appears to be better quality than the stock filter and has a thicker gasket. No pre-filter material on the bottom either. The air box lid was pretty tight going back on. Anybody else have experience with Napa Gold air filters?. Part # 2846

I have used the NAPA gold filter in my truck as well. It seems to be as good or better than stock. I usually get all my filters at Cummins but for some reason they do not have the air filters yet. On my last change I used the WIX and so far no trouble with the WIX or the NAPA. I believe they are the same filter both made by Dana.

I have used NAPA Gold air and oil filters in all of my previous trucks (00 Tundra, 97 Tacoma, more Toyotas, which by the way are great trucks but I wanted a Cummins and 6speed) and never had any problems. Prices are reasonable and there are NAPAs all over.
