Exclamation My truck dies from time to time

Hey,
I have an 03 Dodge 2500 in the past few days at low RPMs my truck will die and tonight i stoped at my barn and was feeding my horses and i always leave my truck runing while i do that but to night it started to have a ruff ideal and tryed to die a couple times and then the high ideal picked up and made it stay running then i was pulling into my driveway and it died pulling into my driveway while it was in nutral and running at an ideal! Could this be my fuel filter? I have not had a loss of power at all! Please Help
Thanks
C~

Did you check for codes? Cycle the key OFF/ON three times real quickly for the codes to be displayed on the odometer.

Is the lift pump original?

Did the issue start with this tank of fuel? Possibly bad fuel.

Start with the easy stuff first like the fuel filter.

Do the above suggestions and then add a pint of ashless two stroke oil to the fuel.If problem goes away during that tank of fuel and returns on next fill ups its a bad FCA.Do a SEARCH on fuel control actuator.

I did check the codes on it nothing showed up! I am leaving right now to get a new fuel filter and some tow stroke oil! Yes it did just start with this tank of fuel, and it is still the original lift pump!
thanks

My same problem came from a dirty air filter the first time and a dirty fuel filter about 2 months later. Runs perfect as long as I keep them changed frequently now.
