Me thinks ALL the sensors that have to do with fuel and engine functioned are covered under the Cummin/fuel system warranty for 7/100.BUT if damaged and not a part failure there may be gray area. The shops I was in did not warranty those items that shorted due to hosing a engine off or such.I've seen busted litre coke bottles that the coke got in the ecu under the seat on a car with 12k on it.It was not warranty.I bet that part they replaced is covered under the FUEL system warranty.Call another service dept and ask them to run that part number for coverage and see.But if it had a differant harness plugged into it and got wet its not a Chrysler issue. If you told them it got wet and why they just rolled with the customer pay.

Nope that was for 1 RP sensor and as I've said before, I can change one out in less than 1 minute. These dealers are strait up CROOKS!

RP Sensor
As I mentioned in another thread, when I killed my RP sensor this last weekend rinsing down the engine with the new Quad harness, the difference in price between various sources for that part was quite surprising. The Dodge dealer wanted $707, and an International truck dealer that handled Cummins parts, $300, both local. I looked around for a few hours on the internet and found a diesel injection shop in Minnesota that handled the same part. I phoned, spoke to a very helpful and pleasant guy on the phone, who ordered the part for me for $108, plus about $12 shipping. Only hitch was, he had to order it and since his distributor didn't have any in stock, it had to come from Germany, so about a two week wait until I receive it. For that difference in price, the Dodge can sit and I can drive my old reliable Chebby on propane. Since I'm not sure about mentioning names on this forum, if anyone needs the name of the shop I ordered from, just PM me.
