Were can i get a muffler delete pipe from and cat delete from? THANKs

 

Any muffler shop can do it don't pay all the money for a factory piece.

 

xtreme diesel for the muffler delete - most economocal on th emarket,
can't help with the cat

Leave the cat and resonator on. You will regret it. Great sound with just muffler delete.

 

I agree w/ Bounty Hunter. I got mine from RPM Outlet and got it cheap and quick. Seems lots of guys are having service issues with that company these days though....

 

HOV I just cut real close to muffler and sawzall it. then took a 4" hand grinder cut a groove into left over pipe then took chisel and split.

 

I'm sorry but I don't follow exactly. The only exhausts I've installed were on motorcycles, old air-cooled VW's, and a Subaru WRX. All of them had exhausts that bolted up in sections so it was pretty easy.

Why do you have to cut off the muffler? And why do you have to split the remaining pipe?

 

Go out and take a look at the ehhaust system on your truck and you WILL then get it. These don't bolt up in sections. Each piece is flared to go over the next piece like plumbing parts. The clamps crimp the steel making it hard to get apart. You can heat the joints and wiggle/turn/pry them until they move past the crimps, or you can just cut them off. It all depends on your desire to save the muffler.

just buy a 4in band camp works AWESOME then just butt the two pieces together and put the camp around it use a air gun and tighten it down you WONT be able to pull apart. Go to a muffler shop that has 4in pipe or a truck shop. buy about 50in if you want to do the cat and muffler. you will then need 4 4in band camps later
