MPG increased after mods
I installed a DPP exhaust and a Ram Air 3. I didn't notice an increase after the intake, but after 200+ miles with the exhaust my computer (it's been very accurate) shows 18.1-18.3. Usually sticks on 16.4. This was after 50 miles of mtn driving climbing to 11,000 ft. from 5500. When I got to the top it showed 17.3. Also seems I don't have to give it as much pedal as I used to to go the same speed (if that makes sense). The exhaust sounds/looks great too. 8)

Which exhaust did you get, they have two versions? Was it a pain to install? I'm looking to do an exhaust but don't know which to get.

Re:MPG increased after mods
I got the aluminized DPP. It wasn't too bad. The biggest pain was getting the old one off the turbo. That clamp did not want to come off. That took me about 30 minutes to get off, so about 45 minutes to get the old off, and maybe an hour to get the new one on. A few bloddy knuckles. I'm glad it's over with, but it was well worth it. I've been getting on the pedal alot more just to hear the sound, and my mileage has increased. I don't think it's just a coincidence.

The more mods you do the further you computer is off on the milage, so you can't go buy what it says any more. I have the same thing plus a Edge EZ and mine is off by 4-5 mpg (it shows 22-24 all the time). With just the intake and exhaust alone you probably aren't too far off but you need to check it manualy
As long as we are at milage I did the first long trip with my truck solo not pulling anything finally. Running enitire tank of gas around 74 mph I just 16.73, which was better then I expected actually.
The next tanks we had to try to keep up to a couple of sweet young things in a red car and were running from 80-85 all the time for about 150 miles. Well the milage dropped to 14.5 then but the chase was fun. ;D Oh ya incase any one wanted to know, at 90mph you are turning 3000 rpms with the 4.10, she got road pretty hard their for awhile :

yea -- a manual check is always the best, even bone stock. But if you've not done any fueling mods, it seems that the stock overhead computer's accuracy would not be affected by just air. You'll have to tell us what your manual calculations reveal. this could be interesting!

Yeah, I'll try and top off today. I think it's accurate because I've gone 300 miles and it still shows half a tank. Usually it's at 250 or so. I'll report my findings ASAP. Still though, it would tank me a lot of tanks of fuel to recoup that $730 :'(. I love the sound more and more every day. 8)

Any chance we could see a picture of that 5" stainless tip on your truck?? I'm curious to see what they look like on the SRW trucks.

I use the "justify factor" when I buy something like that. In order to justify a huge purchase I ask myself if its going to do anything for me in terms of a grin. For every inch of grin means your allowed to spend that much in one hundred dollar increments.
For some reason that excuse seems to work with the girlfriend but I don't know how much longer she's gonna buy it.
Of course she did ask me when she gets to try my factor out for herself, me and my big mouth. :

Re:MPG increased after mods
Per the computer on my truck. my milage went down after the mods.
BUT, I'm still running about the same or better milage, 15 - 16+. I get about 480 miles out of a tank, puilling or racing around. I just keep my foot in it though. It sounds soooooo good with the 4" Dynomax and the power is fun too.

OK, filled up, hand calculated. At the time of fill-up, computer showed 18.0 MPG.
382.4 miles
20.65 gallons #2=
18.51 MPG ;D 8)
So the computer was indeed off, for my favor.
