Mopar Winter Front

Quick question - I just installed the Mopar winter front ('06 2500) - there were two pieces of Velcro (both coarse side, not fuzzy) about 4" long packaged with the WF, and I can't see where they're supposed to fit. Anybody know where they go?

I thought maybe they were included for another application/installation other than my year/model; but don't know that (the directions consist of just pictures with no text instructions or other information) and I sure as heck don't want to take the chance of ruining the WF - and/or tearing something else up if/when it comes loose - by not installing it properly.

It's about zero right now (prob +10 in the garage - and yes, I should have put in on when it was warmer) - so if they're really necessary I can use a hair dryer to warm the metal.

TIA for any help/advice -

i dont have mine on yet, might not put them on at all. still have them though. i have yet anything to come loose. i dont think they are 100% needed. you can hold off till it warms up. or do the hair dryer thing liek you said. jsut make sure to clean the metal area first, thats most inportent. more so then having it warm.
