There has been no need so far,to cut apart a XRF joint .They have performed as they should so far.

I would love to see the insides of low mileage ball joint of another brand. I think the comparison would be helpful. For all we know, it's completely normal to have that rough a surface on the ball.

Exactly what I am getting at.. We all know the moog BJ is terrible and cause even more problems. Well some of us know and even probably the newest members came upon this forum as I did a couple years ago, with a problem to solve. I would just like to see a comparison of quality between different brands of ball joints from the big players. dtrac, carli, xrf and anything else that is out there in the market. Mainly out of curiosity, I am sure it would also help curve sales and maybe even prove one groups BJ over the other.

I had the Moog lowers in my truck for 10,000 miles. The truck drove horrible, I couldn't keep it going straight down the highway. I replaced them with factory Mopar lower ball joints and the truck drove perfect again. I sent them back with a labor claim, and Moog paid it no questions asked. Moog knows there is a problem or they would have fought me on the labor claim.

McQuay Norris is a great joint also. Sage Carli used them before he came out with his own.
But with Carli's costing only $800 for a lifetime BJ, isn't that the way to go? I mean how many times do you want to change BJ's?

No need to cut open a Carli. They come apart right?

McQuay Norris - I have seen discussions about them on here but have never seen them or the price. Quality, if Carli has used them in the past I am sure they are great. But not good enough obviously he had to make them better..
Carli - $800 BJ vs the million mile warranty XRF BJ that cost $200.
A $800 BJ that you possible may have to rebuild? If they are so good why would you even need to worry about rebuilding them.
I am not trying to start a BJ war, I just wanted to see a reasonable comparison of the BJ's that are on the market. Maybe the Carli sales guy on the forum, I do not know his username but he generally ends with, he may have some more insight on the Carli products and any comparison's that have been done?
