Are Mobil 1 Filters as good as Stratopores?

Oreilly Auto has another good deal I noticed today. Buy 5 qts of Mobil1 and Mobil 1 filter for $29.99. Seems like a good deal to me if their filters are good.

I bought one once... can't say anything good/bad about them... I got scared when I saw the list of "approved" filters on this forum... I've been sticking to Stratopore since..

Don't do it. It's not worth the risk. I wouldn't use one.

I strictly used Mobile One with my Mustang GT back in the day. Couldn't complain, never had an issue and price wasn't terrible.

But on a Cummins I would tend to stick to more commercial oriented products.

I use Valvoline premium blue and Wix Filters. No complaints as well.

Mobil one filters very good

I know a fella that uses his D-Ram for hauling RV's all the time. He uses Mobil one filters. Always good service in his truck. I use them too. Never had a issue, but I have way less miles.
Its good to have extras especially when you can get oil for your car and a $13 filter for your truck. I watch for those deals at autozone.
They don't carry the filter for my car so it works out.

I been using mobil1 for 100K now with no problems. Easier to find than ordering Fleetguards.

I use the filters they sell at Autozone. Although I will prboly start buying a few Fleetgaurd fuel and oil filters from Genos. The Autozone fuel filter cost me 20 bucks, and you know it isnt a 5micron rated filter.

Fleetguard Stratapore or the Donaldson ELF are the top oil filters as for the others if its not on the Dodge Approved list I will not use it on my engine. As I see it why risk a $15K engine because you want to save a few bucks on a oil filter?
