Millage question after CP3 replace
Does replacing the CP3 cause any millage differences.?
I had mine replaced monday after truck quit and millage seems worse now. Left this am from southern Michigan on way to Floridia. First 2 tanks were 10 & 11 MPG pulling my 5er (wife loaded it for 2 months and would guess we are at 11K or so total weight as trailer normal setup is 9800# and she added a lot of junk, whoops that should read important stuff). Had improved empty to 19-21 mpg so thought a similuar increase on towing millage might also ocour around 13-14 or so or could it just be the winter blend fuel causing lower millage. Also I am still using the Power Service Marvel Mystry Oil combo on every fill up. Turned 30k shortly on truck after starting trip.
Almost forgot to mention was mostly at 65 mph 1850 rpm instead of my ususl 75 mph.
Thanks for your thoughts on this.
