Mega cab workout / performance at 20k gross

The next time I pull the trailer I will hold my speed down to 65 to see what that does. It looks like that is the consensus here.
As far as mileage goes, I didn't buy the truck for mileage, but I was very surprised that it does not get any better than my 6.8L Ford V10 did. People can say what they want to about the Ford V10, but it pulled hard. It just had to work so much harder to do it. It had to spin so much faster than the cummins. It is so nice to have so much power at 1800 -2000 rpm. The V10 had to spin at nearly twice that speed. It did sound pretty good doing it My Dodge seems to do the same job with a lot less effort.

Any reason for this that anyone know of?

B+W told me it is placed forward of the axle to distribute the weight closer to the center of the truck. I pulled my 3 horse gooseneck up sunset point here in Az. and the Mega handled very well. Passed every one on the hill as well. She just blew past my buddy towing his horse trailer in an 01 350 super duty diesel. Could have easily pulled the hill at 85 but was concerned about the egt's (no gauges). Cruised right up at 70. I have 35's and the 3.73 auto. I did lock it out of overdrive.
