Looking at the MBRP SS Cat back system at DTR store. Would I have the drone with this? Would it be much louder than stock?

 

I don't have an MBRP, just a stock exhaust with a muffler delete. It will be louder for sure, but everyone's ears are different. What might be too loud for some is a good sound to others.

As far as drone, I found that having the exhaust tip out past the body helps eliminate most of the problem. Pulling a load, it is louder climbing the hills, but no drone.

 

I put am MBRP stainless turbo back system on my 03 Ford 6.0. It woke up the turbo whistle but that was it. FYI the 03 year 6.0 had a resonator in the down pipe hence the louder whistle without it. I had no drone what so ever when driving or hauling my fiver. Matter of fact when it comes time to replace the exhaust on my 06 it will be getting an MBRP.
