Maximum Speed with 4.10 Rear 555
My truck seems to max out at 90 is that about right with the 4.10 rear? The truck seems to run nice and smooth and quick till about 80 then it seems to get alittle vibration and noisy and strugles to about 90. I love the truck and it runs great I'm just wondering how well it is going to pull when I put 10,000# on it in the mountains. The truck just hit 6000 miles.

90 is probably about right for the 4:10 differential. I have the 4:10 but I have never tried to reach top end. I've been up to 80 but I don't remember what my rpm's were. As far as towing 10,000 pounds, top end has nothing to do with with towing ability. If it did, you'd see 10,000 trailers behind Mustangs, Corvettes, and those little ricers. You won't have any trouble with 10,000 pounds behind your CTD.

Depending on tire size, your truck should see about 106 @ 3200 rpm. (Doing the math with my tires).
My truck, with stock tires can touch 100. My OD is a little shorter than yours.

I broke 100 with mine on I95. It felt like she could do a little more but I don't trust the stock goodyears. She did feel much more stable than my old '00 2500.

Got the Dually up to 100mph (160km/h) the other day while passing before I backed off, it still had more left, should do about 107 on the govenor. As for Towing I just towed our 94 Prowler 30R (about 9000# loaded with tools) up a few good grades and I love the HO with the 4.10's perfect setup for the Auto.
