Manual tranny shifting difficulty

Manual tranny shifting difficulty
I've got a 03 2500, 190K miles, with the 5 speed manual. It has suddenly developed a problem where it won't shift into ANY gear at all. This happens intermittently and, for now, only happens when tranny is warmed up. I was not towing when this happened and have not since. The problem will also disappear for a few minutes and then reappear. Could something in the clutch release mechanism be sticking? Maybe shift linkage worn or broken?
Very reluctant to drive truck far for fear of getting stranded! Any help appreciated!!

Strongly suspect you have immediated need for a hydraulic clutch assy. Get the one piece kit from dealer or I believe Southbend has a complete aftermarket kit. Both are about same price unless dealer insists on double netting the price.

Thanks for the help! It was the hydraulics that were getting weak. The new assembly was installed and the truck is definitely shifting a lot better!
For the record, it pays to shop around for this part. I found the complete assembly at WholesaleMopar.com for $120 (including 2 day shipping). Other online sites wanted $200 to $300!!!
I did not check with a local Dodge dealer as I figured they would not be the cheapest.
