well a week and a half ago the trans gave up on me.....lucky I have another truck to drive while i get this dodge straightened back out. anyway, I took to a reputable transmission place here in town and they hooked it to there machine and test drove it. the guy said its has lost 2nd gear, the computer is commanding to shift to 2nd but it just rev's and then hits 3rd. i guess she has had a good run on her with 140k miles. couldnt have happened at a better time of year for me since my tax money should be coming in really soon. i guess those other plans I had for the cash will have to wait

 

Guess it is a 47 or 48RE by sig. KD band could be way out of adjustment or broken. Whatever, still has to come out probablly for repairs.

 

its a 48re and I have adjusted the bands previously and changed the filter. just time to get it rebuilt
