Ballistic Fabrication is an outstanding vendor in the Rock Crawling world, ought to be an outstanding product.

I like Ballistic's stuff hope comes out soon.

But there is allready an out fit that does it for way under the Dynatrac kits.

Yes but what's with the "width difference" picture, do their hubs make the wheels stick out THAT much more? Not a fan of that look...

I just installed the Dynatrac myself. It does not change the track width. The wheels mount up to the rotors as it does from the factory. With this kit the hub mounts outside the rotor and the wheel mounts against the hub, not the rotor. Not as good as the Dynatrac, JMHO. But it might be a good kit, it's just what the entire front of the truck sits on.

Just in case anyone is contemplating a Dluxfab kit...this is a reply I received regarding fitment for my dually. I really don't understand what is being said.

"My hub conversion would fit your truck. The only hang up we might have is the dually part. I havent had the time to look into spacers yet to solve this issue. It could be simple, it could be tough. I am not sure. Two ideas I have are to run an aftermarket spacer and to machine the stock spacer. If there is an aftermarket spacer that is straight bolt on, its super simple. On the stock spacer, I would need to clearance the I.D. and also counter sink the inner lug holes to accept a tapered lug nut vs. the hub centric lug nut that it uses now. I am 90% sure the I.D. of the spacer is not a problem and I have no idea thus far if the countersinking is an option."

Why does the Dluxfab kit make the front tires stick out so much?

The track is wider because,,,, the stock set up is with the rim bolting up against the rotor. The rotor must stay in the same location because of the caliper. With this setup there is a hub that sits between the rotor and the wheel about 3/4 thick. Other than this, read what I said previous.

i'm seriously thinking about getting their kit. i am currently on the waiting list for a set from EMS but if that didn't pan out i was gonna get dynatrac’s kit. but this seems to be another great option.

I got a call a couple of weeks ago that Solid Axel is back making the hubs again...any word on whether there's any truth to that?
