lift pump pressure

lift pump pressure
Hey guys, I'm afraid to drive my truck from all the warnings about a failed lift pump... Heres the symptoms:
Fuel pressure ok at idle hot or cold (9-10 psi).
Fuel pressure ok (mostly) when driving.
Under heavy throttle or once hot the supply pressure drops to 0 psi. Once it idles again it comes back up but as soon as I touch the accelerator it drops back off again.
Does it irregardless of programmer's position (stock or increased power)
Lift pump was replaced by dealer about 40k ago with the in-tank one.
Dealer replaced FCA about 3-4 months ago due to random rail pressure issues and stalling.
Any thoughts?? Really need this thing running right so I can drive it again. It is my only vehicle and I don't want to wreck anything expensive.
Thanks
Nick

That's about right. Were these pressure checks after a filter change??? If not, change the fuel filter and check them again. Should see about 2-5 psi at WOT depending on what programmer you are running with a truck that is turned up a little. That's why folks get aftermarket LP's.

I was running zero psi intermittently at partial throttle (under25%). Put a new lift pump from orielly's in it. 13-15psi now. Still not sure what the crap in the strainer was but it was definitely not algae... Tank is clean as new. Total spent was under 200, we'll see how long it lasts.
