Lift Pump?

Lift Pump?

How can I tell if the lift pump has been replaces?

Depends on what year truck you have.

2003-2004.5 they are on the back of the fuel filter housings.

2005-2006 they are in the tank.

So, if you have a 2003-2004.5 and it not on the back of the filter housing,then its been switched over per the dodge TSB.

If its 2005-2006, I can't think of any way other than looking at a repair order saying it, or by dropping the tank.

Might try calling a dealership with the VIN for a warranty service history.

I don't own the truck. I am looking at one. Its an 03 3500. If it has not been fixed what an easy way to find it?
