The Dodge cummins engine warranty covers anything on the engine. If they try to deny warranty for any parts they are just blowing smoke hoping that you will pay the bill or they don't even know their own policies.

I guess im wrong I just pulled out my warranty book and it says What' Covered in vehicles with CTD *Cylinder block and all internal parts *Cylinder head assemblies * core plugs *fuel injection Pump & injectors * gaskets & seals for listed Componets * intake & exhaust manifold *oil pan *oil pump *timing gear drive belts and/or chain and cover * turbocharger housing and internal parts *valve covers *water pump & housing
Now I'm ******
after reading my warranty book the dealer told me that I needed the extened warranty because not every ideam on the motor was covered. Looks like lot of it is covered. So what good is the extened warranty??

The sepertine belt was a dealer screw up.Water pump yes,(Cummins 7/100)belt no.I'm sure it was caught later.If parts were NOT put in correct columns ie customer pay/warranty service writer had it taken out of their pay.Least the 3 places I worked out over 25 years.Kinda made you NOT want to do it to many times.
