I bought my 06 from Button Dodge.

Am trying to deal with them again because of the lifetime warranty they are offering but when i spoke to them last and told them we do all our own maintentence (fluid changes) they said they would have to check to see if they could still offer the lifetime and i have not heard back from them

the dodge dealer here in GA said that the lifetime warranty does not come with the diesel or v10. but once you start to do upgrades you just shot that to hell anyways.

Uh, well I would hope they don't offer a warranty for the truck V-10's, because they haven't made them for over 5 years, since the second gens. As far as NY, the ads no longer say that the warranty excludes Diesel Vehicles, just SRT and Sprinter models, so it sounds to me like they are covering them now.

Yeah, that's probably the "auto for life" program, which is a lifetime warranty IF you do all your scheduled maintenance through that dealer. Not a good deal unless you got a serious lemon truck.

FYI, they offered the V-10 in 2003 in the 3rd gen 2500/3500 HDs too.

Seen one in person!

It had a V-10 emblem in place of the "C" / "Hemi" emblem.

Dodge does lifetime warrenty on gassers and non D rams. As for lifetime warrenty dealers can do that at there own discretion with VERY FINE PRINT.

Some of the fine print includes yes, they do all the maintaince at there intervals, at there prices, which means, they can raise the price and you have to pay.

Basically stating, ITS A GIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just a gimmick for you to buy from them, it sounds good at first, but in long run, they just make more money off you.

If you have own CTD why do you think you need a life time warranty? I thought the CDT lasted just about forever

LOL -- When I purchased our CTD (it was an '06 leftover), the lifetime warranty program was just announced - dealer told me you are covered. Later recanted the offer saying that they did not have all the information and that diesels were NOT covered. Whatever. Cummins covers the motor for 70,000 mi... it was not a deal breaker was we bought this truck way below NADA value. I do my own maintenance, anyway...

Cummins does not warrenty your engine. Dodge warranties the Cummins engine in your Dodge pickup for 5 years or 100,000 miles which ever comes first.
