Leaky CP3 or GDP 2 micron filter?
#16
A long time ago I thought I had a cp3 leak but as I traced the fuel up past the cp3 and onto the rail. Turns out one or two of the injector lines needed a slight tightening up at the rail. I didn't get crazy with torque but I distinctly remember putting the wrench on one and it turned without any pressure on the wrench
snugged it up and it's been fine ever since. and don't do this with engine running.

UPDATE:
Turns out the GDP MK-2 was leaking on the clean side of the filter (from the housing to the CP3). The diesel managed to leak past the Permetex PTFE thread sealant I applied, so for anyone's future reference I would advise against using PTFE thread sealant.
What I used to better seal the pipe fittings was a yellow colored teflon tape from Home Depot made with PTFE to seal pipe and protect against diesel, and it is rated to 100psi. So far no leaks or drips, but only time will tell if the tape works better than the thread sealant.
