leak on fuel water separator

I've got an 04.5 that has a leak at what I believe to be the return line at the fuel water separator. About 2 years I installed a glacier pick up pump and those connections seem to be holding although it's hard to tell due to the diesel on both lines. I guess what I'm asking is does anybody know if the return can be fixed with something as simple as a hose clamp, or is it more complex? The leak is not severe but seems to be getting progressively worse and I'd hate to start spewing diesel all over the place.
