But right now it is frozen as a birck since it snowed here, got warm and wet and snowed more and is 16 degrees.

I posted a thread in the no drivetrain section, but didn't talk about the flaps. The day I put mine on, it was 11 degrees for the high, and that night got down to -1. I ran with all flaps closed. It worked great, heated up quick and ran on the thermostat. Last nite it was 23 degrees when I headed home and on the highway @ 69-70 mph, it got up to 199, but cooled right off if I slowed down to 65. Stayed on the stat when driving in town.
I found the owners manual pretty worthless, the installation instructions for the cover refered you to it, but all I could find was, not to let the heat get over 240 degrees. Well, duh.
This week it's supposed to be 40s day 20s night, I'm going to open 1-2 flaps and see.
