Jerking Between 2-3k

Has anyone else experienced this? I have 2k miles now and I'm wondering if this is going to clear up or if there's a real problem.

Between 2-3k RPM and not at WOT, is seems to hesitate or jerk a little. It seems worse when there's very little load, like at 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear.

Thanks in advance to any help.

do a search but this has been discussed. i believe it may have something to do with either a bad injector(s) and a computer reflash.

Sounds like your truck needs the reflash. Go to your dealer and tell them you need the TSB performed for the hesitation and the miss on the 04.5 600
If the dealer says they never heard of it the number is TSB 18-007-04.

If the reflash doesn't fix it you will need the injectors replaced, that will fix it.

Thanks for the input. I tried to search for it but didn't come up with anything before I posted the question.

Again, thanks. I'll get it taken care of.

I went to the dealer and he applied the TSB listed above and the problem went away. Thanks for the advice!

When was your truck and engine built. Also how pronounced or violent was the jerking. The reason I ask is mine has a very slight hesitation in that rpm range, but I wouldnt classify it as jerking. My engine was built on 3/6/04. The build date is on the drivers side of the engine on the data sticker.
