Jacobs-Mopar Exhaust Brake Install ??

Good tip. I wouldn't use those crimp on taps for anything I wanted to be able to rely on.

Solder and shrink tubing won't corrode or pull apart.

I finally got started on the exhaust brake intall today, but I didn't finish.

The brake itself was tough by myself, getting the gasket in and tightening a V-Clamp.

The serptine belt did not present as much problem as I thought. I levered the tensioner pulley from underneath the truck. Then putting it back on I used a cheater and a tiedown strap tied to the frame to take the tension out and hold it while I threaded the belt around the pulleys; it ended up working quite well.
