ISSPRO Gauge install - back lighting not the same

Spent half the day putting in the pyro, trans temp, boost, and fuel pressure.

The Fuel pressure and boost are mechanical gauges, the trans temp and pyro are electric. I am running straight 12v for the lighting. I was going to tap into the dash lights but i noticed the voltage only went up to high 4V. The illumination on the electric gauges are great, the mechanical gauges have alot of white back light around the outside ring of the gauge. I used a black sharpie on one of the gauges and it helped, but still not great. I colored the entire bulb. Any suggestions?

Tap the factory dimmer switch for your new gauge lights. The wire you need is orange with brown trace, or orange with white trace. There may be more than one wire with the same colors. Test the wires to find the right one.
