Did you have any weight in the truck? What PSI are you running in the tires? And do you have the stock rims, or an aftermarket? Seems with a 12.50 inch wide tire on a 8 inch wide rim, you would have the middle wear out faster...

If they're only wore on the outside edge, (side you can see) on both driver and passenger side, it really seems like maybe the axle tube is bent, with the center being higher than the ends.
If both edges on the same tire where wore I'd blame it on tire pressure.
Tire pressure will cause both edges OR the center to wear but NOT just one edge, especially on the rear.

You didn't have it off-road at any point recently did you? I'm thinking if you hit something with the axle tube or high-centered on the pumpkin you may have bent the tube. But then again I would also think that if it were bent enough to wear tires like that then the axle would be making some god awful noise going down the road at 70 mph. You sure it wasn't in for service recently and they may have rotated the tires without telling you? That would easily explain it.

Both tires wore on the out side edge? Pretty strange. I'd jack it up and see if anything is loose.
I could see one on the outside and one on the inside but I'd have to agree the axle could be bent.
