Intercooler hose clamp...

I have tried to remove the clamp. It loosens up but that Intercooler hose is a Bugger to get off. I couldn't get it. Is there something I am missing here?? I need to ck and see if it is dry inside the hose. Thanks!

Just slide a cotter pin removal tool between the hose and pipe. Keep the pointed end pointed away from the hose Then work it around hose until hose is loose from pipe. Be caredul not to damage hose with pointed end of tool. Hoses are expensive like everything else on a diesel truck. Good Luck
