Agreed.....Injector bodies are valuable and if you are buying new and giving away your cores you are giving away money....is there a place you can purchase new at a good price and maintain the value of your Injector cores? That is probably the bigger question.....

Most outfits I deal with from my end, do not require cores when purchasing new injectors. Only on reman units. I have had some companies ask if I want to sell the cores that are being removed, but they still don't charge cores up front.

I am thinking that this may be how they offer cheaper parts, perhaps he extorting your cores for their own reman program???

Or maybe I'm out to lunch like usual.

On older powerstroke injectors, my sources sell only new, with no core, as they are generally "not worth rebuilding". Although in the past, I saw outfits selling new, with a nominal core, because they admitted needing cores for rebuild. Too many variables to predict what is actually happening.
