Injectors where to get good ones at the best price
#16
Without the tantrums............ the answer to the legitimate question is that old injectors have rebuild value, which these folks may also do, or they resell them to others that do rebuilds. That does not mean that your new injector purchase is false. My recommendation is also buy new, if you expect to keep the truck.
If anyone has dealt with that hopefully they will respond

Most outfits I deal with from my end, do not require cores when purchasing new injectors. Only on reman units. I have had some companies ask if I want to sell the cores that are being removed, but they still don't charge cores up front.
I am thinking that this may be how they offer cheaper parts, perhaps he extorting your cores for their own reman program???
Or maybe I'm out to lunch like usual.
On older powerstroke injectors, my sources sell only new, with no core, as they are generally "not worth rebuilding". Although in the past, I saw outfits selling new, with a nominal core, because they admitted needing cores for rebuild. Too many variables to predict what is actually happening.
