Injector source advice or experiences please.

I'm looking to buy from shopinjectors.com but I've got no experience with them and can't find reviews. They are Bostech reman stock for a good price. Anyone hear of them or ever work with them before?

What he said, reman injector, even Bosch genuine remans can cause much more trouble shortly down the road then the money that you are saving by buying them. If you can afford to, ONLY buy new from a REPUTABLE Bosch dealer like Engineered Diesel or T&C Diesel.

ENGINEERED DIESEL - ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS FOR ALL DIESEL MOTORSPORTS

I say reputable, because there are unfortunately some dealers who will sell remans as new in box injectors. Some may know know the diff, since they are "genuine Bosch remans" but others may well be doing it on purpose. If you are not paying new prices , you are likely not getting new injectors, but remans instead. Your injectors are the heart of your Cummins and if they go south on you, they can easily and fast ruin the engine.

If you are perhaps also looking for a slight fueling upgrade, you CAN get NIB BMS (Bosch Motor Sports) marine injectors for your 5.9 Cummins. Either of those dealers above should be able to help you get what you need for your truck if you explain to them your specific needs and concerns.

Arent all injectors that arent in a new or crate motor? I think even the guys at Genos told me that.

I did run across one sight selling the marine diesel injectors and I was wondering if they would be a power increase. How are they different?

Where can I get the marine injectors? I've just been through to many sites to remember.

NO idea about full force, though any injector with upgraded nozzles is a crapshoot…the "upgrading" process involves enlarging the holes in the tip with potentially mixed results. Also, they are probably NOT NIB injectors with upgraded tips, but reman injectors with upgraded tips.

Why not just call the guys I linked to above??

I KNOW that they are reputable, can also answer your questions, and just so you know I do NOT make any money from them by recommending them.

How can you make adjustments to the smarty S06 to accommodate the new 60hp injectors?

i have efi live, so i dont know that much about smarty. but i would think you wanna adjust the duration on like a stock setting. more fuel will flow through the 60hp injectors and you wont need that on a stock setting. so you would turn down the duration to compensate for the extra fuel. i dont know smarty he has or what smarty you can do that with.
