Injector Nozzles

Injector Nozzles
I have a 03 3500 with 160,000 miles and I've had problems in the past with it starting, I replaced the lift pump with a FASS pump and it has helped out for the past two months. Though now that it's starting to get a little colder out it's back to it's hard starting or not starting at all routine. So now I'm going get the injectors rebuilt and while I have them out I'm going to get 50 hp nozzles for them. Does anyone have an opinion about what nozzles to get or which ones to avoid.
Thanks,
Kade

I pulled mine on sunday and sent them to DonM at F1 for R&R and new tips. He has a pretty good reputation for injectors which is why I went with him. I also hear that DDP tips are pretty good.

Thanks for your reply on which nozzles you suggested. Of course now I've been told that I need to install the O rings I ordered for the high pressure connector tubes when I was trying to figure out the starting problem in the first place. I have the O rings but have yet to install them just because I was planning on waiting until I replace the injectors. Does this sound like it could be causing my starting problem now?
Thanks again,

Another vote for Don M's work. I had the progressively harder and longer starts until it took ether to get it to fire. (be aware of the ether and grid heater problem if you ever decide to use it)
In July of 2008 I sent my injectors off to one of his reps for the 40HP nozzles and the flow match. They had to repair one that was leaking down and returned them promptly. World of differance. Started as it did when new and the extea 40 HP was nice too. If any lost fuel economy it was minimal, after the smile factor of the new power wore off.

Well I finally got the injectors back today and installed tonight. It starts right up now after I got it running. The only problem I have now is when I have the truck up around 2800-3100 rpm it has an exhaust flutter any ideas?
Thanks

Well I adjusted the valves to see if that was the problem thinking maybe it was tapping I heard. So after that we hooked up the auto enginuity to it and read fuel pressures when I hear the sound in the engine. If I slowly accelerate I can get it up to 3200 rpm with out any sound. If I accelerate fast and have the engine loaded down it starts to make a popping sound about 2500 rpm with the fuel pressure about 20,000- 21,000 psi. My buddy is wondering if with the 40hp nozzles may be causing a timing issue. Any ideas what it could be or if you think its timing what programmer would be the fix?
