Injector Noise??

Injector Noise??
Anyone else having issues with your injectors?? I have had two replaced and still have a tapping or clicking noise that comes and goes at random. It is sometimes very pronounced at idle when the engine is cold and there are times when you don't hear it at first start up. Also, it seems to just start up while driving down the road at normal operating temps. The dealer is just completely baffled and I must say that DC has been more than a little tight lipped about the issue. My dealer has been extremely good at trying to fix the problem, but the folks at DC seem to be passing the buck and from what I can tell really don't seem to care about the noise my pickup is making. At one point, I was told to "lump it". That comment was from one of the district or higher up tech guys that my dealer has to deal with. I just can't believe that DC is treating folks this way!! Just got the pickup back yesterday evening from having inj. #2 replaced. Actually, it was on cylinder #4 and the engine is already making the same noise again. The service dept. at my dealer suspects that the "bad" injectors are falling below a certain percentage of operating levels and the other "good" ones are picking up the slack...so to speak. They theorize that this could be why my injectors are systematically failing one after another. Does anyone have a clue about why these injectors are making these noises and causing problems? My fuel mileage drops off by a couple of MPG's when I hear the noise. I have no mods on my pickup, it is a completely bone stock 04' 305. I run good fuel that we use in all of our other equipment...i.e. semi's, tractors and other diesel pickups and am just completely perplexed as to why these things keep happening. I change the fuel filter every ten thousand and run a good synthetic blend oil. Truck does not idle excessively, either. Help!

ive read that its caused by the pilot injection and is normal condition. i know that the fords had many complaints and problems with the pilot injection process and reflash computers to eliminate the pilot injection.
