injector design change
My 05 has 150K and needs new injectors. 150K is not much these days and its disapointing and expensive. Have their been any design changes to make them tougher.
Our family Hyandai has 220K and has only needed maintanace stuff and a tierod.
Also, is there anyone with high milage on stock injectors like over 200K? And is it with stock or aftermarket filtration? Wonder how much it helps.

Bosch went to a different type of metal for the bodies, and some have a little puck in the nozzle to keep the pintle from doing a lot of lateral movement. I found them while searching for new injectors for my 06, but I can't for the life of me find the site again.
Biggest thing is contaminated fuel. Then you got fuel pressure and volumes, fuel additives that contain alcohol, fuel filter maintenance, connecting tube retaining nut torque, and finally if you've been running a blown PRV and not knowing it (kinda goes with the pressure and volume).
