Injector
#3
Are you having problems with your stock injectors that require their replacement?
If you are getting the "injector knock", you may be able to correct it with a fuel additive.
You may want to fill your fuel filter bowl with Sea Foam injector cleaner. Start it up & run the crap out of it. Put the rest in the tank or do the treatment again. Then start running an additive like Stanadyne, Power Service, Primrose 405 or any one of the others available.
The knock is probably from carbon build-up on the injector tips. I've been able to clear it up with Primrose 405 each tank along with a dose of Marvel Mystery Oil & I just hit it with the Sea Foam. Runs smooth, now.
Dealer & DC would not do anything regarding my injector problem.
If you don't run these engines hard, they a susceptible to injector tip carbon build-up.

The dealer is stating (on phone) that there have been no problems with any injectors unless a programmer is used (which I do not have) and if one is bad than I will pay for the part and labor because mine would be due to user error
Since then I was able to contact two diesel shops and the other dealer and they all three stated that there has been a number of injectors go bad, just bring it in and we will fix it. So..... I will still try the sea foam, (you're the second to refer it) b/c I would be without my truck for the whole day the other way
Thanks
And yes I am being that this is my second thread on the subject

I have to love my dealer I have 14000 on my truck and two injectors replaced. DC said they were not going to replace mine because my idle time was 22%. My dealer faught for me and they ended up paying, anyway my question is can I get after market injectors for my truck yet? I have heard Don M and Edge but do they have them for my truck? Will they last longer than the stock ones?
