Not even close to bonehead of the month. I guy I used to work with had a rental car while traveling. Pulled up to the pump and the nozzle wouldn't fit in the hole, so he goes inside buys a funnel takes it out there and begins filling the car with diesel. Not too mention he never caught himself, he drove away and the car starting acting up. they towed it and didn't find out what he did wrong until the mechanic looked at it and called the rental car company.

This is one of the reasons I will NOT let anyone borrow my truck. I'd have nightmares of them filling it up with gasoline.

I'm all for the larger nozzles at the regular gas stations but that still won't stop anyone from inserting the smaller gas nozzle into the filler neck and pumping in the wrong stuff.

I like the locking cap idea and will make that my next purchase.
