hey guys i had my transmission go on me back in november i had brought it to the dealer because i didnt have the money to have it built up and it was still under warranty but anyways to the point i have not tried this with out the smarty in so i dont know if it only happens with added power but when accelerating over 40 50mph+ it feels like a vibration goes threw the trans for just a few seconds then smooths back out my buddy has an 06 2500 and same situation with his never did this befor the rebuild
Is it normal does yours do it or do we have a problem
also two different dealers and techs worked on our trucks so cant be an error on the tech.
thanks guys.

I agree, when I had old beta 4.4 and the stock converter, I could slip it whenever I wanted to. Once it was locked I could still make it slip and shudder like crazy and I could ease back some and it would stop.

yea it stops as soon as you let off. but even if that is the issue that im over powering the trans witch is most likely so not saying im not but my buddies truck does the same thing since his rebuild and all he has done is a superchip flashpaq hes got an 06' 2500 could his converter be slipping also or samething with the cluches with his??
not doughting anything anyone is sayin just weird that it only did it after the rebuild for the both of us.
thanks for the input guys appreciate it.

mine chatters to. my local tranny shop wants to put a goerend triple disc converter in my truck and check tranny over. is this a good converter. i run edge on level 1 only and level 2 when towing.

Yeap, that is what I have. Towing under the right circumstances you will slip the converter very easy. If it does it make sure you back off of it or bad things will happen. LOL!!!! I could slip mine at 55-60 MPH going up a rolling hill towing with my Quad on level 1 and that being the only mod that was done besides exhaust and AFE stage 1.

No Goerend issues at all LOL..... You guys having a panic attack....LOL It was my stock tranny. I upgraded everything in my signature before I roasted my tranny. That was before the smarty and a few other things.

You had me worried there for a second. I am really looking into goerend for a built trans and have never heard of anything like that. should have known better.
