How tight do you make the feeler when setting the valve lash
As the title states....how tight are we talking, slide in and out easy, or using a good bit of force?

If you can actually feel a little resistance, it's right. Hard to push in or slide, too tight. No resistance, too loose. Or you can use a go-no go system. The next size smaller feeler is too loose and the next size thicker feeler won't go in.

Yes, like the person before me said. Use a go-go-no go method to get a feel for it. If it should be .011" lets say, then be able to get a .010" in there, then a .011" with a little more force, but a .012" wont go in there. You will notice it is pretty tough to get the .011" in so I usually get a "feel" for the .010" and set them all that way. Just my 2 cents.
