How to replace front U Joints? Home job?
I have a 05 Dodge 2500 and my front u joints are showing play and beginning to click a bit. Is there a how to on this forum showing how to do this the right way? Special press needed? It is a bear to get them out? Thanks

There's a few threads on the 3rd gen forum referring to manual locking hub conversions and they delve a little bit into replacing the u-joints. The 1st Gen sticky has a very good write up on replacing the u-joints on the Dana 60. Even though it's a difference axle than our AAM 9.25", it's pretty much the same process. The only major difference is removing the unit bearings on our trucks compared to the individual bearings on the 1st Gen 60's.
