I'm on my 4th filter at 114k. Change when filter gets stoped up. Truck will act up under full power. Just back off the throttle finish out the day and change that night. Takes about 10 minutes. No fuel pump problems yet.

I usually change around 10k unless my fuel pressure stays up. Then I change when either the fuel pressure shows signs of lowering or my knuckles stay white all the time from worrying about it.

Before my Fass install I changed fuel filter every oil change,yah may have been over kill but cheap to do. The fall is a great time to change the filter and clean the bowl before temperatures drop. Now with two big honking filters (3 micron fuel and seperate water filter), a 150 gph pump, 
I change by the hours....250. Once again overkill and just for the hell of it since the stock filter is onboard I change that too. My wife says I need to get help with this truck obsession. Thinking she's right! Need to start a group " Hello my name is ..... and I'm a Dieselholic"
