I have 211000 miles on my auto trans in my 06. I was wondering who has the most miles on factory original . I have gone over board on service I guess. I change the oil and filter every 30000 miles or less. When I bought this truck new all the Dodge guys said the auto in a Dodge wouldn't make it to 80000 miles. I guess thats why I've serviced it so often. Yes it's got a mind of it's own if you push it hard but other than that it's been good.

I have 248K on my '03 and I got scared like you and dropped it out around 140K and looked itover, never did anything major. Changed out the frictions in the front half of the trans on general principle but didn't do anything else. It all looked fine so why fix something that ain't broke... Put it back together and here we are... running fine.

I'm at 145K miles and service it per the manual. I hope mine's still going when I reach the miles you guys have!

I have 110k on mine, still shifts strong.. Tow 10k trailer about 3-4k miles a year ... service every 25k miles.

If you service it by the book and keep it from getting too hot they should last at least 250k.
