'03 3500 w/ 85k miles - still stock everything, even tires (did replace the rear tires because towing seems to wear them out faster.) Infact, I haven't needed to do anything but wash it and change the oils.

IT'S A CRAZY GOOD TRUCK!!! I LOVE IT!!!

03 98k and my new battires will be here today. I have one with a bad cell and it takes the other down. I went with oddyseys. They have a new one for our truck. I am putting the good old one on my car trailer in the box for a backup. Will hook up the charge line to keep it toped off. Will take a picture when they get here.

My 01 (bought Dec 00) still has the stockers in it with 207k on them. Within the past 6 months or so they have been weeping more and more. Just bought a new set last weekend. Just need to get them put in.

Do you have a part number for the Odyssey batteries?

How do Optima and Odyssey compare?

I couldn't find the part number 1750, only 1700.

I've used optima's for years. But the last couple I've had just sucked and didn't last. Switched to odyssey's and have not had a problem. The odyssey's are alot more, but I think worth it. The part number I gave you is brand new.

Those 1700's have 850 cold cranking amps (nice). What is the CCA for the 1750's ?

I was checking prices online and they're around $250 each /$500 a set!

Not sure they're worth that kind of moolah, especially with only a 3 year warranty.

35,000 miles and coming up on 4 years in March. Seemed a little slower than normal to crank over this morning, but it was 18 degrees with no plug in. It's going in for regular service in a couple weeks, so I'll have 'em checked for peace of mind.

I live in a condo with no plug in, this truck has been started for 4 winters down to single digit temps without issue.

My 95 F350 I purchased new and just sold to a friend had original batteries until spring 07. 12 years. I keep my topped off w/ electrolyte instead of water.
