The manual will tell you but I think its every 60k. I just did mine at thirty and cold tell you all about it but do a search for "G56 and tcase oil" or somethin like that I just posted it this weekend.
I used RP synchromax, dont know if I was supposed to or not cause apparently no one one here knew but I guess I will be the test dummy.

I have wondered the same thing when towing heavy. I just got my fastcoolers last week but only have about 25k on the redline MTL I put in. Maybe another 5-10k and I'll throw on the fastcoolers and may install a probe just to see.

I've got Fast Coolers on my truck, and a Commander on it's way. So, in about a weeks I can tell you how hot an NV4500 will get. Manual transmissions are pretty well known for staying fairly cool, which is why most folks don't monitor trans temp on a manual. I would say, IMO, anything over 200 degrees is getting pretty hot in a manual.

I have been running RP Syncromax for about 35,000 miles and have only checked the level. Of course I am running this in a NV5600 and I haven't done anything about checking the temp. As stated there doesn't seem to be much worry (interest) in temps on a manual tranny. As for using the RP in a G56 I am not sure that the oil is properly formulated, I only checked with the makers of the oil for its compatibility for the NV5600.

I havent talked to RP personally but it is advertised as, Formulated for manual transmissions and transfercases that call for ATF, and in the manual it calls for ATF+4, so I guess the only thing that kinda bothers me is the +4 part.
BTW I thought NV5600s needed a heavier oil than that, but if thats what they said and you got 35k I reckon its workin.
