How far did your Lift Pump Take You?
#16
My original lift pump went over 270,000 miles, it died right before Christmas last year and was replaced with the in-tank version. I have had nothing but he## with the fuel system since. I've lost the CP3, the fuel rail over pressure valve twice, my fuel gauge is off by almost 3/8th of a tank (I ran out twice) and I am now having hard starting and injector issues. The truck was great for 270K, but has turned into a piece of cra# since then.

do the intank lift pumps go bad? i am having a pretty hard time getting my rig to fire up consistantly. It was starting very hard, I changed the fuel filter thinking it was that, no dice. I blead my injectors, fule filter case, etc. still starting very hard. After i carnk it for awhile i can hear my pump kick on. Any ideas would be great.

Follow Up
It isn't totally dead. I changed the fuel filter because, with the drain open it would move plenty of volume, when the key was cycled on. After the filter was changed it runs. Very black and gooed up. However, the lift pump can't make enough pressure to cause it to cut out, when the key is cycled on, and it just runs continiously.
