How far did your Lift Pump Take You?

Mine bit it today at 118,055 km or 73785 miles. That of course is the lp on the fuel filter on a CRD pre 05.

Under 5000. Probably from the factory. 33000+ now with no problems.

31,561, Changed the fuel filter thinking it may be just bad fuel since I had burned lower then I usually do. 31,900 engine died in traffic thank goodness I was in the downhill side of an overpass. 31,950. Lift pump replaced. Three weeks and no residual problem. LP is now in the fuel tank.

I had 130,000+mi. on mine and was still going strong when it was replaced with the Walbro. Had it for about a year with the mods I have and still had no problem out of it. This was the excetion to the rule however. I only replaced it cause the CP3 was pulling a vaccum to get fuel during full throttle acceleration.

Lasted one year 20K and changed to the fass with filters. Perfectly good oem lift pump sitting on the garage shelf with other stock parts.

Still working at 30k. Sometime in the future will replace with either a BD or Walbro kit.
