Is It Possible To Make A Ctd Sound Like A Powerjoke? I Love The Whistle Of There Turbo. Is It Just The Vvt Or Something Else? I Never Heard A Ctd Sound Like This.

You can buy a set BD twin turbo,s ,and a AFE filter unit that comes with the kit ,this will give you the sound of a jet

The power is awesome too

There's really no way to get that whistle sound at idle like the Fords have. I guess you could engage the E-brake a little so it builds some boost off idle.

Here's what mine sounds like while staging with the twins...from the "quiet" side of the truck...with the stock silencer ring still installed...

Not to hijack, but man that's a nice clean run! Is there room for some more fuel there...TST, MP-8, etc?

Not sure if you have a silencer ring on your turbo, but removing that makes the turbo more noticeable. Also a buddy of mine has a 5" exhaust that sounds more like that.

pull the silencer ring, add a cold air intake kit and an exhaust and you will hear it sing.

Yeah there's definitely a little more room for fuel. I can't run a TST because it's an '06.5. I've tried a Quad XZT and it made a little difference but not much. I think the real limiting factor now is the stock CP3. Seems like a well balanced combo though...I hate to touch it!
