........This is a minimum hour "with a strain" or hard pull'n. With an avg of 40 MPH that's 6,000 x 40 or 240,000 miles.

However, the non-puller would run many more hours than this before an internal problem should arise. Heck, 10,000 hours with a 20 MPH avg would be 200K.... and that's driving around town.

......I still don't understand why folks change the trucks oil every 3,4 or 7K miles. You can see the difference really quick if you divide the hours by oil changes. IMHO, I think it should be done by hours and conditions. 300 hours max on reg dino oil in normal condtions, 150 hours in severe conditions and double that with full SYN. My .02 worth............
