I used a 1'' square tubing to mount mine. two small holes and self taping screws to hold to frame, two holes in the tubing to mount pump and about one ft. of the fuel line cut out and it looks factory.
working on the wiring now.

I don't think the Holley Black is too big or too much pressure for your CR Truck, but IMO it is too much when used as a "lift pump" in addition to the VP-44 on a 98.5-2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve truck.

Same here, I have a black pump laying around that may just find its way onto my truck

Are you guys regulating it any way? or Does the Holley just max out at 20psi~
Just wondering if id need to regulate the Black pump?

On my 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve, I did not use a regulator with the Holley Red I had. My Son also did not use one with his Holley Blue on his 2004 Dodge CTD CR. We both were using the Holleys IN CONJUNCTION with the stock lift pumps. I would suggest trying the Holley Black and see how your pressures look. If they are above 25lbs. I would look at trying to get that down some.

Good luck.

on the o3 what color is the key hot wire that goes to the stock pump? I left the stock pump on and am running the fuel through it. to see if it worked i wired it up straight. it would not be hard to put a regulator in line to control the presure.

Thanks John, I may give it a shot, now to get a fuel pressure guage and some fittings

Just curious, but have either of you had the stock LP fail, and did the holley still suck thru the stock LP?(assuming it is tank mounted, instead of the 03/04s that are engine mounted)
Im just wondering if the stock LP died if it would become a restriction, or keep the holley from working all together...

Yes, my lift pump had failed on my 2002 and no, the Holley Red would NOT push the fuel through that failed lift pump. So,.... I made a "bypass hose" to go around the lift pump after that. Now, a friend of mine had a Holley Blue on his 2nd Gen with the stock lift pump and he said his Holley Blue WOULD push through the failed the lift pump. I attribute that to possibly the Holley Blue flowing more fuel (140 GPH) versus 95 GPH on my Holley Red.

I don't know about the CR Trucks with the lift pumps in the tank though.

My Holly Blue is pushing fuel through the engine mount lift pump. 03-HO as of now.

I haven't tried just the Holley by itself yet, but the in-tank stock pump seems to have no problems pushing through the Holley when it's turned off. Hopefully if the Holley was to go out the stock pump would still get me home.

Yeah, thats the only thing im wondering, which honestly, if the stock lift pump died id be up a creek without a paddle anyway, with or without the holley.
I appreciate the help, looks like itll be a month or two before I can scrounge up the cash for the guage(and a few more odds and ends), but ill post up when I get to it.

AH, ok. Cool, I guess worst case carry a section of pipe, and if the holley fails, swap it out for the short section of pipe to limp home. But hopefully it would still push thru and you wont need to mess with it.

Ill be also rigging up a CAT filter setup, probably right after the holley for a little better filtering before the stock canister.

Yeah, I still carry the stock metal piece of line that I cut out just in case it ever needs to be bypassed.

I haven't really heard of many failures with the newer in-tank stock pumps. My main concern is the Holley going out...I think the stocker will probably out-last it.

What gauge wire are you using from the battery to the relay and then to the pump?

thanks
