45 ft is not far enough away from a detroit. You can put 25 turbos on one and probably still not hear them over one of them noisy things.

by the way, congrats on the new truck!! Soon you be turnin off the old jim reaves tape , roolin down the passenger window and listening to that cummins whistle while it works

I could hear the turbo in my 01, BUT I guess I am going deaf as I cannot hear the turbo in my 04.5. I did hear a kind of whine (not a squeel or whistle) starting a couple of weeks ago. Tightened all air clamps and now no whine. Disappointing.
